Beauty of Adoption

This video by Bethany Christian Services shows the beauty of adoption. The video footage, commentary, and song in this video all go together very well. It is so touching, and adoption is the perfect representation of what God did for us- He adopted us as His children.

The video shows a family's journey to adopt their new baby daugther from China, and some of her time with her new family. The beginning of the video shows the suitcases all packe to go get Addie, the baby. Video footage is shown of Addie's new big sister,anxiously awaiting her arrival.

The commentary of the father adds so much. Even though he does not say that much, what he does say speaks volumes. My favorite part is when he is saying, one more flight and they'll be home. I love that, finally after not having a little home, this sweet little child is chosen to be loved by a family and to have a place where she belongs.

The song used in this video fits so perfectly. The melody is so peaceful and the lyrics fit nicely with the video footage. One part of the song says," Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong, hallelujah" That is so fitting, because Jesus loves the children who have no one to be loved by. He hears the cry of the orphan.
